The process aims to heighten a client’s state of awareness in a way that relaxes the conscious part of their mind while simultaneously stimulating and focussing the subconscious part. This altered state of consciousness - reached using skilled relaxation techniques - allows the therapist to then make appropriate suggestions. Hypnotherapy works particularly well as a treatment for habit breaking, stress related issues and for a range of long-term conditions.

Dramatherapy is a creative form of psychotherapy employing a psychodynamic and person-centred approach which gives equal validity to physical, emotional and psychological needs. The aesthetic form of drama and its elements are used to ‘contain’ and give meaning to clients’ experiences and is used as a bridge to verbal dialogue and insight-based psychological development.
Dramatherapy is a way of using both one-to-one and group exercises to explore feelings, inclinations and personal attributes. Clients then use their insights from these exercises to work on making their lives more fulfilling than before. Sign Up Now
